ISKCON Dhanbad – Hare Krishna Temple

ISKCON Dhanbad organized a grand festival in Dhanbad to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna .

The celebration included discussion of Lord Shri Krishna’s pastimes, mesmirising and loud kirtan, ecstatic dance and drama by college students displaying the love and affection of great devotees of the lord like his friend Sudama and many other cultural activities. The festival went till midnight and hundreds of devotees from Dhanbad came to witness the birth of the Lord. Free feast Prasadam was distributed to all the visitors.

International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) belongs to the Gaudiya-Vaishnava sampradāya, a monotheistic tradition within the Vedic or Hindu culture. These are the historic texts of the devotional bhakti yoga tradition, which teaches that the ultimate goal for all living beings is to reawaken their love for God, or Lord Krishna, the “all-attractive one”
